The TP-Link Omada EAP725-W is a wall-plate Wi-Fi 7 access point designed for high-density network environments such as hotels and offices. It provides BE3600 tri-band speeds, reaching up to 2882 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 688 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band.
The unit is equipped with four Ethernet ports: two 2.5 Gbps and two Gigabit ports, offering versatile wired connectivity. One 2.5G port supports 802.3bt/at PoE+ input for power and data, and features PoE passthrough to the second 2.5G port for powering an additional device. This access point incorporates key WiFi 7 technologies including 320 MHz channel bandwidth, 4K-QAM, and Multi-Link Operation (MLO) to increase throughput and reduce latency. Centralised management is facilitated through the Omada Software Defined Networking (SDN) platform, allowing for easy deployment and maintenance.
