| With the undercover jig set from wolfcraft, you get a comprehensive complete package with everything you need for drilling and fastening concealed joints in wood. Join workpieces precisely and securely with minimal effort in just three steps. The centrepiece of this set is the undercover jig, a drilling template for pocket holes. Also included are a special drill bit, depth stop, hexagonal key, screws with matching screwdriver blade and screw-hole covers. With the undercover jig, you can make precise, guided angled drill holes into which you then fasten the screws for a precise and stable joint between the wood pieces. You can measure the board thickness directly at the drilling gauge. Practical presettings are provided for all standard board thicknesses starting from 12 mm. The set also includes a step drill bit: The tip of the drill bit pre-drills a small guide hole for the screw thread, while the second step of the bit countersinks a bigger hole into the wood for the screw head. The wood pieces can then be securely joined using screws. The biggest advantage of this method over a regular fastening is that the screws are not visible from the outside. You can also make the drill hole disappear using the screw-hole covers included in the set. There is no more precise or easy way to join workpieces.
