This means they provide protection against impacts with an energy of up to 200 joules and a compression load of up to 15kN. Unwavering Slip Resistance
The boots have an SRC-rated sole. SRC is currently the highest slip resistance rating under the EN ISO 20345:2011 standard. To achieve this rating, the footwear must pass both SRA and SRB tests.
- SRA tests slip resistance on ceramic tiles wetted with a soapy solution (sodium lauryl sulfate).
- SRB tests slip resistance on a smooth steel surface with glycerol.
