How to Use Liberon Liming Wax:

1. Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from previous finishes. Open the grain with a Liberon Bronze Liming Brush. For softwoods like pine, use a wire brush or coarse abrasive paper to score the timber. To enhance the effect, you can color the wood with Liberon Palette Wood Dye before applying the liming wax.
2. Application: Work the liming wax into the grain using Liberon Ultrafine Steel Wool (grade 0000) or a lint-free cotton cloth. Wipe off the excess with a clean cloth.
3. Drying: Allow to dry for 3-5 minutes.
4. Finishing (Optional): To remove the white haze, use a cloth and Liberon Wax Polish Black Bison Neutral, or for a water-resistant finish, use Liberon Finishing Oil. Apply a second coat of Black Bison Wax and buff or add another coat of oil. More coats of oil increase water resistance and shine.
